Starting at 11:30, Lucy will keep your children happy with a half hour session of books and fun.

We offer a children's lunch menu which you can order as you arrive and we can bring it out after the story.

WOOL AND NEEDLES AT THE READY

KNITTING CLUB IS STARTING AT THE WHITE HART!

Every Tuesday (starting from March) we will opening the doors to our creative friends to come and exchange patterns, knit clothes for some local charities and learn new techniques between yourselves!

Saint Patrick's Day or the Feast of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17th March. It is named after Saint Patrick, the most commonly recognised of the saints of Ireland.

THE MASTERS

**THE GREAT BRITISH BARNES BAKE OFF **

Barnes will never be the same again. Set to be a true community event this is your chance to show us your best skills in the kitchen and give Mary Berry a run for her money.
Judged by Youngs executive chef Chris Knights, The White Hart's very own head chef Martin Wright, our area manager Mark Loughborough along with guest judge Roy Levy, the Head Baker at Gails Bakery we welcome you to The White Hart to show us your baking prowess.

You can collect your entry form from the bar at the White Hart or you can email whbevents@youngs.co.uk. Please return the form to the Pub or to the above email.

The day starts at 10am, with entrants bringing their creations to the Terrace Kitchen to be judged and by midday the winners will be announced.

The Categories for the Bake Off are:
Barnes Beauty – This has to be cake that is all about Barnes. Barnes, Barnes, BARNES!

Victoria Sponge – Exactly what it says – this is a classic so it needs to involve 2 sponges sandwiched together with a fruit filling and the rest is up to you.

Cupcake Creations – 12 Cupcakes that will wow us

Tempting Traybake – any sort of traybake goes here. Please ensure that it is presented cut up into squares/rectangles

Loaf cake – as long as it is cooked in a loaf tin, it fits the mould

Pastry – One large sweet or savoury pie

Bread – Any yeasted loaf, sourdough or flatbread. Sweet or savoury it’s up to you

Biscuits – A batch of 12 biscuits or cookies, think uniformity here.

Under 16’s
Our junior bakers can enter either:
- 12 cupcakes with design and flavouring of your choice!
- A tasty traybake, cut into squares or rectangles
- 12 biscuits or cookies
The entries will be judged in two age groups: juniors aged 7 years – 11 years, and juniors aged 12 years to 16 years.

After our first month of starting knitting club we hope to have some amazing clothes to donate to the local charities. Come and join us to make a difference.

Children's Extravaganza

Join us and Jackanory legend Lucy from 11am-1pm for a morning of stories, music and crafts including a Mother's Day card making station and facepainting.

Tickets are £5 per family with all ticket proceeds going to St Christopher's Fellowship.

There will be a child menu available and the adult menu as always.

Psst Dads - this is the perfect prep for Mother's Day! The little one's will leave with a card and maybe even a gift for mum... and you can have a pint - double bonus!

MOTHERS DAY AT THE WHITE HART

Our mums definitely need a little treat this day! So, treat your mum to lunch with us this Mother's Day and we will treat her to a glass of Prosecco.
