Built in 1662 and given a fresh face in 1899, we are a cornerstone of local history, where you can catch those famous riverside sunsets that make our pub so special.
Perched on the banks of the Thames, we’re all about warm welcomes, great service, and good old-fashioned attention to detail. While we don’t offer bedrooms ourselves, a number of welcoming pubs with rooms are just a short taxi ride away. That means you can feast, party, and indulge to your heart’s content before retreating somewhere cosy for the night, and perhaps joining us again in the morning for a walk and lunch along the river.

This September and October we’re proud to be supporting Dogs for Good, a charity that transforms lives by training assistance dogs for people living with disabilities, autism and other challenges. At the heart of Barnes, our pub is all about community, and over the coming weeks we’ll be bringing people together with events, merch and bar specials to raise money for this incredible cause.
